As we continue to grow, we are are in the market to hire an Intermediate Web Application Developer to join our development team and support a variety of client-facing web applications, portals and integration projects.

Position Summary

Working closely with business stakeholders and internal technical leads, the Intermediate Web Application Developer will help deliver high-quality, maintainable software for multiple clients. The ideal candidate is strong in C#, comfortable working across the stack, and able to understand existing code, troubleshoot issues and deliver features from design through deployment.

This role includes developing and maintaining web applications, backend services, APIs, and front-end functionality across .NET, React-based applications, WordPress sites, and other client systems.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance full-stack web applications using C# and .NET technologies.
  • Support existing customer-facing portals and business applications across multiple client environments.
  • Understand client-specific business rules and support workflows related to registrations, renewals, applications, compliance, payments, receipts, reporting, and self-service processes.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, and the Development Team Lead to deliver high-quality software.
  • Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues across environments.
  • Follow development best practices, coding standards, and technical review processes.
  • Participate in Agile development processes and sprint ceremonies.

Qualifications and Experience

  • University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Management, Business Technology, or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Minimum three (3) to five (5) years of professional web application development experience.

· Strong proficiency in C# / .NET (ASP.NET MVC, Web API, .NET Core).

· Proficient with JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern front-end framework such as React.

· Experience with Node.js/Express for backend API development.

· Experience working with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar).

· Experience developing and consuming REST APIs and working with third-party integrations.

· Hands-on experience with Git and Azure DevOps.

· Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.

· Ability to work with existing codebases and understand business-rule-heavy applications.

· Comfortable working across multiple concurrent projects.

Nice to Have

· Experience with Microsoft 365 technologies, including SharePoint Online, is considered an asset.

· Experience with WordPress themes, plugin configuration, and troubleshooting.

· Prior experience in healthcare or regulated industries.

Compensation & Location

· Total compensation range: $85,000 to $100,000 commensurate with experience

· 4 weeks of vacation, healthcare, HSA, half-day Fridays every 2nd week in summer and more

· Based in-office in Vancouver or Fort Langley, with some flexible work arrangements as agreed
