At Jouge Homes, we build a limited number of custom homes and large-scale renovations each year. Every project is thoughtfully planned, carefully managed, and built to an exceptional standard.

We're looking for an experienced Residential Site Supervisor to lead the day-to-day management of our construction sites. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating people, solving problems, maintaining quality, and taking ownership of a project from start to finish.

While this is primarily a leadership role, we're looking for someone with a strong hands-on construction background who understands residential construction from experience.

Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day operations of custom home and renovation projects.
Coordinate trades, suppliers, inspections, and deliveries to maintain project schedules.
Ensure work is completed to Jouge Homes' quality standards before progressing to the next stage.
Review drawings and proactively identify potential issues before they impact construction.
Conduct regular quality control inspections and manage deficiencies.
Maintain a safe, organized, and professional job site.
Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, trades, and the internal team.
Assist with project scheduling, site logistics, and material coordination.
Resolve site issues quickly and professionally while keeping projects moving efficiently.
Take ownership of the overall success of each project.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of residential construction experience.
Previous experience supervising custom homes or large-scale residential renovations is preferred.
Strong understanding of residential construction methods, sequencing, and building practices.
Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings.
Experience with project estimating, reviewing trade quotations, scope coordination, and budget management is considered a strong asset.
Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Confident making decisions and resolving issues independently.
Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.
