Job Title – Systems Operations Specialist
Location: Oakville, ON
Reporting to: Senior Manager, Operations
Hybrid – 3 days on site
We are seeking a Systems Operations Specialist to provide advanced technical support for enterprise systems used by Government and Law Enforcement customers across Canada.
This role focuses on
- Troubleshooting,
- System administration,
- Deployments,
- Customer support, and
- Maintaining service levels in mission-critical environments.
Key Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in systems administration or technical support (beyond help desk).
- Diploma or degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux systems.
- Scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash, Python, etc.).
- Basic SQL/database knowledge.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.
- Ability to participate in after-hours/on-call support.
Ideal Candidate
A customer-focused technical professional with strong troubleshooting skills who enjoys supporting complex systems, working directly with end users, and collaborating with Engineering and QA teams.
