About The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Analyst / Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in financial planning, reporting, compliance, and process improvement while providing strategic financial advice to support organizational decision-making. This position is ideal for professionals who thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and possess strong analytical and communication skills.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Develop, assess, and monitor financial processes and internal controls to ensure compliance with applicable policies, legislation, and accounting standards
• Conduct financial reviews and analyses to identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies
• Support financial planning activities, including budgeting, forecasting, expenditure monitoring, and variance analysis
• Research, interpret, and apply accounting standards to complex financial transactions and provide recommendations to ensure compliance and consistency
• Analyze financial data and prepare reports that support evidence-based decision-making
• Work with large datasets using advanced Microsoft Excel functions, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and data analysis tools
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial guidance and build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization
• Prepare clear, accurate, and comprehensive reports, presentations, and briefing materials for management
• Communicate financial information and recommendations effectively to a variety of audiences
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance financial processes and controls

About You

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Must have 10+ years’ experience in Federal Public Sector
• 10+ years as a Senior Financial Specialist
• Reliability clearance
• English Essential

About the Job

• Duration: 3-month contract
• Rate: $40.00 to $80.00 an hour
