At Jouge Homes, we build a limited number of custom homes and large-scale renovations each year. We believe exceptional homes are built by exceptional people, and we're looking for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, works hard, and enjoys being part of a close-knit team.

This is a hands-on role for someone with solid residential construction experience who enjoys variety. No two days are the same. One day you may be completing framing, the next coordinating deliveries, performing quality checks, building temporary protection, completing deficiencies, or ensuring the site is clean and ready for the next trade.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all aspects of residential construction on custom homes and major renovations
• Complete miscellaneous carpentry and construction tasks as required
• Coordinate deliveries and organize materials
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites
• Assist with trade coordination and scheduling
• Complete quality control inspections and identify deficiencies
• Perform deficiency and warranty work
• Build temporary protection and site structures as required
• Assist with project documentation and progress photos
• Help keep projects on schedule through proactive problem solving
• Support the Site Supervisor and Project Management team in delivering an exceptional client experience

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of residential construction experience
• Strong understanding of custom home construction and/or major renovations
• Comfortable using a wide variety of construction tools and equipment
• Ability to work independently while knowing when to ask questions
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
• Excellent organization and communication skills
• Physically capable of performing a variety of construction tasks
• Clean Class 5 driver's licence and reliable transportation
