Role Description

The Motion Graphic Designer will create engaging visual content across graphic design, motion graphics and animated content that aligns with Almond Nail Bar’s brand identity, marketing campaigns, and in-salon experiences and across multiple brands of the corporation.

Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and animating digital assets for social media, ads, website, etc. The Motion Graphic Designer will work closely with the Marketing Director and Head of Marketing Growth. Collaborating with marketing team to develop visual concepts, and producing video content that highlights services, promotions, and brand stories.

Responsibilities

  • Design creative assets for paid advertising, Instagram, Tiktok, Youtube, e-blast, website, and other digital platforms
  • Create motion graphics and animations for digital campaigns and social media
  • Edit short-form and long-form videos
  • Create marketing materials for both online and offline campaigns
  • Design website graphics, landing pages, banners, and other digital assets
  • Maintain brand consistency across multiple brands
  • Use AI tools to improve speed, creativity, and production quality

  • You're comfortable turning rough ideas into polished creative work. Whether it's a voice note, a reference video, or a quick conversation, you know how to take an idea from concept to execution.
  • You don't need a detailed creative brief to get started. A simple concept or reference is enough.
  • You should also be comfortable moving between a static graphic, a short motion piece, and a fully edited video within the same week.

Qualifications

  • Graphic Design: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva (Figma and InDesign are a plus.)
  • Video Editing: Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut or DaVinci Resolve (Final Cut Pro or Filmora are a plus.)
  • Motion Graphics: Adobe After Effects (Experience with Cinema 4D, Blender, Cavalry, or Jitter is an asset.)
  • AI Tools: Experience with tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, Runway, Perplexity, Descript, ElevenLabs, HeyGen, Higgsfield, or similar AI creative tools.
