Shaun’s Zen is a TCM and acupuncture clinic in Richmond, BC. We're a small and tight-knit team — the kind of place where everyone knows each client, communication is direct, and people genuinely support one another to get things right. We're growing thoughtfully, and we care about bringing in people who share that same level of care and attention.

Start date: As soon as possible

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months with 3 months of probation period

Location: In-clinic

Pay: $80.00-$100.00 per hour, rate varies based on experience and level of collaboration.

Additional pay: Commission pay or Tips

Schedule: Fully flexible (set around your bookings). Most staff work ~3 days/week and choose to overlap with teammates for front desk/billing support.

Perks: Autonomy over your own calendar, on-site parking, multidisciplinary environment, front-desk and billing support available on overlap days

Experience: Minimum 1 year

Licence/Certification: Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) — current Full Licence with CCHPBC

Interview: Required

Your Duties

  • Perform deep tissue, sports, myofascial release, and acupressure therapies
  • Assess clients' needs and preferences to customize massage sessions
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment (table and linens are provided)
  • Educate clients on the benefits of regular massage therapy
  • Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols
  • Keep accurate client records and documentation
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed

What You Bring

  • Strong written and spoken English
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and understand their needs effectively
  • A collaborative mindset — you're comfortable working alongside TCM practitioners and other team members to support shared client care.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development through workshops or additional training

Good to Have

  • Mandarin fluency (or conversational Mandarin)
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • A background in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) massage
