The CCC Games boasts over 8,000 participants from 130+ local companies for 15 days of cross-industry networking and team-building events.
Who We Are
We’re a small team, and as is often the case with small companies, we all tend to wear a lot of hats (figuratively speaking). We work closely and collaboratively as a team on most projects and events, and we genuinely have a good time doing it. Our slogan is, “Where Work Comes to Play”, and we do our best to live out that motto!
What We’re Looking For
Individual with knowledge of (and preferably a degree in) marketing and/or communications who is looking to gain meaningful work experience in the world of events and/or in the nonprofit sector.
A self-starter who is highly motivated, dependable and organized. The right candidate will possess exceptional communication skills (we really care about spelling around here), a willingness to step outside of their comfort zone and a strong work AND play ethic.
Must have access to working internet, a computer and a phone. A valid drivers licence is also required, as well as access to a vehicle. Evening & weekend availability is required.
Preferred: Current CPR & First Aid Certification
Calgary Corporate Challenge has an open hiring and recruitment policy, and we are committed to evolving diversity including but not limited to age, gender, and ethnicity.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Working with our Marketing & Communications Coordinator to oversee digital marketing campaigns, monitor and analyze performance metrics
- Supporting the communication line between CCC, member organizations, and other stakeholders as needed.
- Generating and managing compelling and engaging content for various channels, including our website, social media, newsletters, and marketing collateral
- Contributing actively to the success of all CCC's events by: Communicating important information to all stakeholders pre-and-post event, providing on-site training to volunteers, and assisting in set-up, hosting, and take-down of required equipment
Why You Should Work With Us
- Hands-on, practical experience in event planning and execution.
- Unique opportunities to engage and network with stakeholders in corporate Calgary.
- Work with a small and dynamic team in a collaborative environment. When one of us succeeds, we all succeed! And when one of us struggles, we can all go get ice cream.
Please note: While this is currently a contract position, there may be an opportunity to join the team full time in the near future.
To apply
Email us (see contact below) your resume along with a cover letter telling us a little bit about yourself. We want to know the somewhat important stuff like what skills and experience you have and what you’re hoping to learn through this experience, but we also want to know the really important stuff like which sports teams you cheer for, what movie or tv show you’d recommend, or what your favourite ice cream shop in Calgary is. Yes, really. We have a spreadsheet going.
The application period will remain open July 31, 2026. We appreciate all applications, but only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview.
