Our client, a leading Canadian manufacturer and distributor of innovative consumer products, is seeking an Intellectual Property Counsel to join its senior leadership team. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will work closely with engineering, product development, and commercial teams to conduct freedom-to-operate analyses, develop and prosecute patent applications, manage a substantial global IP portfolio, and provide strategic legal advice that supports ongoing product innovation and international growth.

The successful candidate will ideally be an IP lawyer with a background in mechanical engineering.
