  • Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite (Monday–Friday)
  • Hours: 8:15 AM – 4:30 PM (Alberta Time)
  • Contract Term: August 3, 2026 – July 31, 2027 (with potential of extension)
  • Hourly Rate: $85–$100/hour (Incorporated)

Stafingo is currently seeking an experienced Senior IT Change Manager on behalf of a confidential public sector client in Edmonton, Alberta. This is an exciting opportunity to lead organizational change initiatives supporting a large-scale Procurement System Modernization program and drive successful adoption of enterprise technology solutions.

Position Overview

The Senior IT Change Manager will play a critical role in planning, developing, and executing change management strategies that enable the successful implementation, adoption, and sustainment of enterprise technology solutions. Working closely with executive sponsors, project teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional groups, the successful candidate will ensure organizational readiness and long-term business success.

This role is ideal for a strategic change leader who excels in stakeholder engagement, executive communications, organizational readiness, and driving user adoption across large, complex organizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive Organizational Change Management (OCM) strategies and plans.
  • Lead stakeholder identification, stakeholder analysis, and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Conduct organizational readiness assessments, change impact assessments, and gap analyses.
  • Develop and implement communication strategies and communication plans.
  • Create engaging communication materials, presentations, and executive-level messaging.
  • Build and deliver presentations to executive leadership, management, and business stakeholders.
  • Develop resistance management strategies and mitigation plans.
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop project schedules, work plans, and resource estimates.
  • Support project risk identification, issue management, and change-related mitigation planning.
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and stakeholder engagement sessions.
  • Measure adoption, monitor change progress, and report on change success metrics.
  • Provide expert guidance on change management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Support ongoing business adoption, sustainment, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Leverage approved digital collaboration and AI-enabled tools to improve stakeholder engagement, communications, reporting, and content development.
  • Ensure technology solutions are implemented successfully and adopted in a sustainable manner.
  • Develop compelling communication content that supports organizational transformation and end-user engagement.

Required Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience in

  • Leading Organizational Change Management activities on large IT transformation projects.
  • Enterprise system implementations, modernization initiatives, or ERP projects.
  • Stakeholder engagement and executive relationship management.
  • Organizational readiness and business transition planning.
  • Change impact assessments and stakeholder analysis.
  • Communications strategy development and execution.
  • Executive presentations and facilitation.
  • Resistance management planning.
  • Risk and issue management.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with project teams, business units, vendors, and leadership.
  • Developing high-quality communication and change management deliverables.
  • Monitoring adoption metrics and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Working within structured project management environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation abilities.

Additional Requirements

The successful candidate must be able to

  • Complete a Criminal Record Check if requested.
  • Complete mandatory security, privacy, and organizational training upon engagement.
  • Work onsite in Edmonton five (5) days per week.
