Role Purpose

The Growth Marketing Manager is responsible for driving measurable customer acquisition and revenue growth across AAE Group.

This position owns the performance marketing function, managing paid advertising, website analytics, search optimization, landing page performance, and digital conversion strategies across both APEX Adventure Plex and Crazy Ape.

This role combines analytical thinking with customer psychology to continually improve marketing performance, optimize customer acquisition costs, and maximize return on advertising investment.

Unlike traditional marketing positions, this role is heavily data-driven and accountable for measurable business outcomes rather than creative production.

Key Responsibilities

Performance Marketing

  • Own Google Ads, Meta Ads and future paid advertising channels.
  • Develop campaign strategies that maximize qualified traffic, bookings and revenue.
  • Continuously optimize campaigns based on ROAS, conversion rate and customer acquisition cost.
  • Manage advertising budgets across multiple brands and locations.
  • Collaborate with internal and external content creators by providing data-driven creative recommendations based on campaign performance, customer behaviour, audience testing, and search demand.

Analytics & Customer Insights

  • Own Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager and website performance analysis.
  • Analyze customer behaviour and identify opportunities to improve conversion rates.
  • Build dashboards and performance reports for executive leadership.
  • Utilize AAE’s proprietary Google BigQuery reporting environment to identify trends, monitor campaign performance, and make data-driven optimization recommendations.
  • Work closely with the Digital Experience Manager to ensure accurate tracking and attribution.

Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)

  • Improve landing pages, booking funnels and ecommerce experiences.
  • Design and execute A/B testing programs.
  • Identify friction points throughout the customer journey.
  • Increase conversion rates across all digital properties.

Search & Digital Visibility

  • Develop SEO strategies across WordPress and Shopify.
  • Optimize AAE’s visibility within traditional search engines and emerging AI-powered search experiences.
  • Identify new content opportunities that improve long-term discoverability.

Marketing Performance

  • ROAS

  • Make ongoing budget recommendations based on performance.

Translate business objectives into measurable growth initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 3–7 years of experience in performance or growth marketing.
  • Strong experience managing Google Ads and Meta advertising.
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager.
  • Experience with conversion rate optimization and landing page testing.
  • Working knowledge of SEO best practices.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Comfortable interpreting customer behaviour and making data-driven recommendations.

Preferred:

  • Multi-location business experience.
  • Shopify and WordPress experience.
  • CRM and email marketing experience.
  • Experience using BigQuery or similar reporting platforms.
