Institutional Investment Sales Manager (Defined Contribution)

Location: Western Canada or Toronto (Hybrid)

Compensation: $75,000 – $90,000 base + variable commission (OTE $140K) + RRSP

An established investment firm has created a new opportunity within its Institutional Sales team. This role offers strong exposure to senior leadership and a defined succession path into a VP-level position long term.

The Opportunity

Partnering with the VP, Institutional Sales (Defined Contribution), you will play a key role in driving growth across Western Canada and Ontario by:

  • Supporting the development and execution of market penetration strategies
  • Building and managing relationships with plan sponsors and institutional clients
  • Partnering on business development initiatives and territory planning
  • Contributing to portfolio analysis and investment proposal development
  • Conducting competitive research and leveraging data insights to support sales strategy

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in Institutional Defined Contribution sales
  • Proven track record exceeding targets in a Business Development or similar sales role
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage client relationships within financial services
  • University degree + CSC (required)
  • CFA (completed or actively pursuing) is required
