Title: Sr. Data Platform Engineer (Halifax, Montreal, Toronto)
Location: Toronto, ON (4 days HYBRID)
Duration: Long term assignment
Required
- Database administration and optimization: MongoDB (NoSQL), MS SQL (SQL), Redis, ElasticSearch
- Data modeling and schema design
- Query tuning and optimization
- ETL/ELT Pipeline development and support
- Workflow orchestration with Apache Airflow, schedulers, and cron jobs
- Event streaming and messaging: Apache Kafka and Solace
- Data ingestion, transformation, and integration
- Monitoring, troubleshooting, backup/recovery, and production support
- Security, access control, and environment configurations
