• Develop and execute account strategies for assigned public sector clients, with a focus on long-term relationship management, executive engagement, and identifying opportunities across Epic’s full portfolio.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise decision-makers, procurement teams, technical stakeholders, and executive sponsors within government and public sector organizations.

• Identify, qualify, and close new opportunities through strategic account development, networking, referrals, industry events, public procurement channels, and partner collaboration.

• Lead complex sales opportunities from discovery through close, including consultation, solution positioning, proposal development, pricing, margin review, contract negotiation, and handoff to delivery teams.

• Position Epic’s managed services, cloud, professional services, cybersecurity, infrastructure, connectivity, and resale solutions in a way that clearly connects to public sector requirements, outcomes, value, and risk management needs.

• Collaborate with internal technical, operations, service delivery, vendor, and leadership teams to develop practical, well-scoped solutions and ensure customer expectations are clearly understood and managed.

• Prepare and contribute to RFX responses, including RFPs, RFRs, RFQs, standing offers, and other public procurement opportunities.

• Maintain accurate and timely records of account activity, opportunity progress, customer contacts, forecasts, service tickets, and client information in company systems.

• Stay current on public sector priorities, ICT trends, cybersecurity requirements, procurement practices, funding programs, and industry developments that may impact customers.

• Represent Epic at relevant government, public sector, technology, partner, association, and business development events as required.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Commerce, Business Administration, Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in ICT, technology services, managed services, cloud, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or related enterprise sales environments.

• Preferably at least 5 years of experience in senior ICT sales, account management, or consulting sales, with demonstrated experience supporting enterprise-level customers.

• Strong existing relationships and credibility within government, public sector, or large enterprise accounts are highly preferred.

• Demonstrated understanding of public sector procurement processes, including formal RFX pursuits, vendor evaluations, contract requirements, budget cycles, and multi-stakeholder decision-making.
