We help organizations leverage Microsoft 365, Azure, cloud infrastructure, and emerging technologies to improve security, efficiency, scalability, and growth.

We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and well-connected Sales & Marketing Business Development Representative to help drive business growth, establish strategic partnerships, and generate new client opportunities.

Compensation

  • Annual Base Salary: $30,000
  • 4% Vacation Pay
  • Commission-based earnings
  • Performance bonuses (where applicable)
  • Flexible hybrid work environment

Commission Earnings

  • The primary earning opportunity for this role is through commissions.
  • Commissions will be calculated based on the value of contracts, subscriptions, managed services agreements, technology solutions, and recurring revenue generated by the employee.
  • Successful candidates with strong business development abilities and professional networks will have significant income-earning potential beyond the base salary.

Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled sales and marketing professional who:

  • Has an existing professional network and business relationships
  • Can identify and secure new business opportunities
  • Is comfortable networking and attending business events
  • Is experienced in prospecting, relationship building, and closing sales
  • Can represent ED Tech Solutions professionally in meetings and community events
  • Is highly self-motivated and results-driven

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Generate qualified business leads and opportunities
  • Build relationships with business owners, executives, and decision-makers
  • Prospect through networking, referrals, cold outreach, email marketing, LinkedIn, and events
  • Conduct discovery meetings and identify client needs
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and service agreements
  • Present company solutions and close sales opportunities
  • Negotiate agreements and secure new contracts
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline using CRM tools
  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales objectives

Marketing Responsibilities

  • Promote company services and solutions through social media and online platforms
  • Assist with marketing campaigns and lead-generation initiatives
  • Identify strategic partnership opportunities
  • Participate in community and industry events
  • Support brand awareness initiatives
  • Generate referrals and strategic alliances

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Account Management, or a related field
  • Demonstrated track record of generating revenue and closing sales
  • Existing network of professional contacts and business relationships
  • Experience selling professional services, technology solutions, managed IT services, cloud services, telecommunications, cybersecurity solutions, software, or business services
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
