Maintenance Technician / Handyman – TSMV Development (Canmore, AB)

Edon Management is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician / Handyman to support operations at Three Sisters Mountain Village (TSMV), a partially completed mixed-use development in beautiful Canmore, Alberta.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional who enjoys variety in their work, takes pride in delivering excellent service, and wants to be part of a unique and growing community.

Position Summary

Based on-site in Canmore, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, repair, and tenant support requirements across the development. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the property remains safe, functional, and well-maintained while providing exceptional customer service to tenants, residents, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to daily maintenance requests and tenant service calls.
  • Complete general repairs and preventative maintenance activities.
  • Perform minor carpentry, painting, drywall, repairs.
  • Conduct routine inspections of buildings, common areas, and site infrastructure.
  • Coordinate with contractors and service providers as required.
  • Assist with seasonal maintenance activities, including snow removal coordination and grounds upkeep.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders.
  • Identify and report building deficiencies and safety concerns.
  • Support tenant move-ins, move-outs, and general site operations.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in building maintenance, property maintenance, facilities operations, or a related trade.
  • Strong handyman skills with experience across multiple maintenance disciplines.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to perform physical work and lift materials as required.
  • Trade certification or related technical training is considered an asset.
