Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Annual Salary: $75,000 to $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience

We are seeking a Payroll & HR Specialist to support our corporate operations in Vancouver, BC, and site operations in Delta, BC. ROLE OVERVIEW

In this role, you will work closely with the Manager of Payroll and Benefits and the VP, HR and Business Transformation to support payroll and HR operations. This hands-on position works directly with managers, employees, and external service providers to ensure compliant, effective payroll and HR processes across a diverse workforce, including union and non-union employees, temporary foreign workers, seasonal staff, staffing agency employees, and office staff. Training and mentoring will be provided to help you transition successfully into the role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Process full-cycle payroll for hourly and salaried employees as part of a team.

· Process overtime, shift schedules, and payroll adjustments accurately.

· Ensure compliance with CRA requirements, including source deductions and T4 reporting.

· Reconcile payroll accounts, assist with audits, and reporting requirements.

· Administer employee benefits programs (enrolments, changes, terminations, premium reconciliation)

· Respond to employee inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

· Support onboarding and offboarding employees to ensure a positive experience.

· Prepare routine HR letters and basic employment documents.

· Respond to information requests from internal and external stakeholders.

· Identify opportunities to improve HR and payroll systems and processes.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

· 5+ years of full-cycle payroll experience required.

· ADP Workforce Now experience is an asset.

· Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation is required.

· Post-secondary education in human resources, business administration, or a related field is preferred.

· Strong knowledge of BC employment standards and payroll legislation is required.

· Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy is required.

· Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

· Access to a vehicle is required.
