Neuropsych & Counselling is Alberta's leading psychology clinic for ADHD, autism, anxiety, learning disabilities, and giftedness assessments & counselling services.

We conduct assessments in Calgary and virtually across six Alberta cities — Red Deer, Grande Prairie, Airdrie, Medicine Hat, and Lethbridge, serving children, teens, and adults who have often waited years for answers. Our average report turnaround is 14-28 business days, our wait time is a fraction of the public system, and our clinical standard is uncompromising.

We are growing fast. We have the infrastructure, the marketing engine, the brand, and the referral volume. What we need now is an exceptional assessment psychologist who wants to build a caseload quickly, work with genuine clinical depth, and be part of a clinic with a real trajectory.

THE ROLE

We are hiring a Psychologist specializing in psychological and psychoeducational assessment to conduct comprehensive evaluations across our core assessment services. This is primarily an assessment-focused role, you will be conducting evaluations, writing reports, and delivering feedback sessions, with the option to carry a small therapy caseload if desired.

This role is available to fully registered psychologists and provisional psychologists working toward registration — we provide supervision support and help connecting you with a qualified supervisor if needed.

• Anxiety Assessment

• Emotional Functioning Assessment

• Giftedness and Twice-Exceptionality Assessment

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists (full or provisional — both considered)

• Demonstrated experience or supervised training in psychological and psychoeducational assessment, including administration and interpretation of standardized cognitive and achievement batteries (WISC-V, WAIS-IV, WIAT-III, WJ-IV, BASC, Conners, ADOS-2, or equivalent)

• Comfort conducting assessments with children, teens, and adults — we assess across the full lifespan and you should be genuinely skilled with at least two of these populations

• Strong clinical writing — your reports are the primary deliverable our clients receive and they must be accurate, readable, and school/institution-ready without additional editing

• Experience or strong interest in ADHD and neurodevelopmental presentations, including understanding of masking, late identification, and gender-specific presentation differences

• Comfortable with virtual assessment delivery — a significant portion of our assessments are conducted remotely using validated digital protocols

• Organized, reliable, and able to maintain our 14-28 business day report turnaround standard without sacrificing clinical quality
