About the Role

As a Cybersecurity Educator, you will deliver interactive workshops and educational programs to students from Kindergarten through Grade 12.

Using our curriculum and educational resources, you'll help students build essential digital skills while creating engaging and memorable learning experiences.

Training and presentation materials will be provided.

What You'll Do

• Deliver engaging cybersecurity and digital literacy workshops for Kindergarten to Grade 12 students.

• Adapt presentations and activities for different age groups and learning styles.

• Create positive, inclusive, and interactive learning environments.

• Represent CyberKiddies professionally while working with schools, libraries, and community organizations.

• Build positive relationships with educators and program coordinators.

• Encourage student participation through hands-on activities and discussions.

• Assist with curriculum improvements by sharing feedback and ideas.

• Support community events, awareness campaigns, and educational initiatives.

Who We're Looking For

We're seeking individuals who enjoy working with children and youth and have a passion for education and technology.

• Teaching

• Education

• Early Childhood Education (ECE)

• Educational Assistance (EA)

• Child & Youth Work

• Social Work

• Psychology

• Youth Programming

• Computer Science

• Information Technology

• Cybersecurity

Equivalent education and experience will also be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)

• Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT)

• Early Childhood Educator (ECE)

• Educational Assistant (EA)

• Child & Youth Worker (CYW)

• Experience delivering presentations or workshops.

• Experience working with children or youth.

• Strong communication and public speaking skills.

• Comfortable presenting to classrooms and larger groups.

• Positive, energetic, and engaging personality.

• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

• Passion for helping students succeed.

Cybersecurity experience is considered an asset but is not required. Comprehensive training will be provided.

Requirements

• Be legally authorized to work in Canada.

• Successfully complete a Vulnerable Sector Check before employment.

• Be eligible to work within schools, libraries, and community organizations.

• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and strong ethical standards.

• Be committed to creating safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environments.

• Be willing to complete any required onboarding or training requested by partner organizations or school boards.
