Sales and Marketing Consultant

Reports To: Sales Manager

Compensation: $50,000 base salary plus commission for the first 12 months, transitioning to a full commission structure thereafter.

About the Role

Moose Media is seeking a Sales and Marketing Consultant to help local businesses grow through effective marketing solutions. This is a sales-focused role suited to someone who enjoys building relationships, meeting with business owners, identifying their needs, and recommending advertising and marketing opportunities that can help them reach their goals.

The Sales and Marketing Consultant will inherit an existing book of business, including current paying customers and dormant accounts. You will benefit from uncapped commission, and after a probationary period, you will receive health benefits, paid vacation, and gas compensation.

The ideal person is a confident communicator, self-motivated, organized, and comfortable prospecting, presenting ideas, and managing client relationships. Our in-house marketing team supports the consultant by helping to create campaigns, develop a strategy, and produce content to deliver results for clients.

Key Responsibilities

Identifies and solicits new business; builds and maintains a full pipeline of sales prospects.

Services and grows relationships within the existing client base.

Identifies client needs and develops persuasive proposals to meet needs and opportunities.

Maintains client communication and ensures client satisfaction.

Works collaboratively with internal partners to drive revenue.

Participates in ongoing sales training, coaching, and professional development as a team, independently, and with the sales manager.

Responsible for payment collection and maintaining strong client account health.

Follows all company procedures for preparing orders, resolving billing issues, submitting regular reports regarding sales, pipeline lists, forecasts and competitive analysis to the Sales Manager.

Generates revenue and meets/exceeds established sales targets.

Candidates must drive their own vehicle with a valid driver’s license.
