INSURANCE BROKER – LEVEL 2 (Management & Leadership Role)

We are an established, independently owned insurance brokerage located in the heart of Oliver, BC — the heart of wine country in the South Okanagan. With a loyal client base and a strong reputation built over many years, we offer personal and commercial insurance solutions to individuals and businesses throughout the region. This particular office does not do ICBC.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is not a typical broker role. The owner is planning a phased transition toward semi-retirement and is looking for the right person to step into a leadership position — with a genuine long-term path toward possible ownership for the right candidate.

You will take on meaningful management responsibilities from day one, work closely with the owner during a structured transition, and have the opportunity to build deep relationships with an existing, loyal book of business and bring new clientelle to the Book of Business.

If you are an experienced Level 2 broker who is ready to lead, ready to grow, and interested in eventually owning your own business — this is a rare opportunity in a community you will love living in.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Manage day-to-day brokerage operations and staff

• Service and grow an existing book of personal and commercial lines business

• Build and maintain strong client relationships across the South Okanagan

• Work alongside the owner during a planned leadership transition

• Participate in business planning and strategic decisions

• Mentor junior staff and maintain a positive, professional office culture

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Active BC Level 2 General Insurance License (required)

• Minimum 3–5 years of brokerage experience, ideally with some commercial lines exposure

• Proven ability to manage client relationships and retain business

• Leadership experience or a strong desire to step into a management role

• Self-motivated, trustworthy, and community minded

• Familiarity with Applied Systems (Epic) or similar broker management software an asset
