Through workplace attire, career development programming, mentorship, and a supportive community, we help women overcome barriers to employment, build confidence, and thrive in their careers.
We are seeking a passionate, organized, and digitally savvy professional to lead and grow our Career Hub while providing exceptional client support and program coordination. Position Summary
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Client Support & Career Hub Manager oversees the administration and growth of Dress for Success Central Alberta's Career Hub while coordinating key client programs and services. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting women through their career journeys, facilitating workshops and programs, building community partnerships, and tracking program outcomes.
This position requires a strong combination of client service, program coordination, digital engagement, and relationship management skills.
Key Responsibilities
Career Hub Leadership & Digital Engagement
- Lead the day-to-day management of the Career Hub, ensuring clients can easily access learning opportunities, workshops, and resources.
- Support client registration, onboarding, and engagement with the platform.
- Monitor participation and usage metrics to improve client experience and program effectiveness.
- Upload content, maintain resources, and troubleshoot basic technical issues.
- Collaborate with community and educational partners to expand Career Hub offerings.
- Promote digital learning opportunities through outreach and communication initiatives.
Client Support & Program Delivery
- Serve as a primary point of contact for client intake, referrals, scheduling, and program enrollment.
- Conduct client assessments and connect participants with appropriate services and resources.
- Coordinate, with the volunteer lead, the delivery of styling appointments and career consultations.
- Facilitate Learning & Connection Days focused on career development, wellness, and community building.
- Lead the Styling Program, ensuring a welcoming, empowering, and trauma-informed experience.
- Coordinate ELLEvate and other client workshops and events.
- Support the development and implementation of the organization's Mentorship Program.
- Assist with Mia's Closet and other collaborative community initiatives.
Partnerships & Community Engagement
- Develop and maintain relationships with referral agencies, employers, educational institutions, and community partners.
- Represent Dress for Success Central Alberta at community events and networking opportunities.
- Support client recruitment and program awareness through outreach activities.
- Identify opportunities for collaboration that strengthen client outcomes and community impact.
Program Administration & Evaluation
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with organizational policies.
- Assist with tracking program outcomes, participation data, and success stories.
- Assist with funder reporting, program evaluation, and impact measurement.
- Prepare reports and recommendations to support continuous program improvement.
- Support organizational goals and special projects as required.
Qualifications
Required
- Diploma or degree in Human Services, Social Work, Career Development, Education, Community Development, Business, or a related field, or a combination of equivalent education and experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in client services, program coordination, employment services, education, social services, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience facilitating workshops, training sessions, or group programming.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and digital platforms, including online learning tools and virtual meeting platforms.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Commitment to trauma-informed, inclusive, and client-centered service delivery.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
Assets
- Experience working with women facing employment or life-transition barriers.
- Knowledge of career development and employment services.
- Experience with data tracking, outcome measurement, and reporting.
- Familiarity with CRM or client database systems.
- Experience working with volunteers and developing community partnerships.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to occasionally work evenings or weekends for workshops and events.
- Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check.
