Grocery Clerk (Delivery Driver)

Cornerstone Co-op invites applications for the position of Grocery Clerk to join our Grocery team on a part-time basis at our location in St. Paul, AB . Reporting to the Grocery Manager.

What you’ll do

Engage with customers to provide outstanding Co-op experiences.
Safely operate the company delivery vehicle for deliveries and pickups.
Complete proper vehicle inspections and all required delivery paperwork.
Load, unload and secure merchandise.
Ensure department standards are met with inventory, ordering, stocking and displaying merchandise.
Operate the Point-of-Sale system to process transactions, perform popcorn-making duties and retrieve carts.
Follow opening and closing procedures.
Follow safety procedures at all times.
Resolve customer issues and answer questions.
Work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Demonstrate day-to-day behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen the Co-operative’s vision, mission, values and focus on safety.
Perform other duties as assigned to support team operations and customer service initiatives.

Who you are

You have a valid Class 5 driver’s license and can provide a satisfactory 5-year standard driver’s abstract.
You are able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs. Loads exceeding 50 lbs will be managed with lifting equipment or assistance in accordance with safety guidelines.
You are able to stand and move throughout your shift, including walking, bending, and reaching wile staying active with tasks such as assisting customers, unloading freight and stocking shelves.
You are action oriented, customer focused and work well with other Team Members.
You are honest, trustworthy, results-oriented, and strive to be the best in what you do.
You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver meaningful solutions, valuing diverse perspectives to meet shared objectives.
