Assistant Manager, Dual Credit and Recruitment

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, or related field
- 3–5 years related experience in post-secondary or similar sectors
- A clean vulnerable sector criminal record check prior to commencement
- A valid Class 5 driver’s license
- A combination of education, training, and experience may be considered
Assets
- Experience with dual credit programming
- Experience in post-secondary recruitment
- Familiarity with student information systems and reporting tools
- Experience working with rural, northern, and Indigenous learners
Nature and Scope of Work
Reporting to the Dean, Student Success & Registrar, the Assistant Manager, Dual Credit and Recruitment is responsible for leading the College’s dual credit recruitment, outreach, and partnership activities while supporting dual credit student enrollment growth and pathway development. This position oversees dual credit strategy, recruitment initiatives, project execution, and the supervision of recruitment staff.
Duties and Responsibilities
Dual Credit Strategy
- Lead recruitment and retention efforts for dual credit students across the College service region
- Develop, strengthen, and maintain collaborative relationships with school divisions, secondary schools, community organizations, and internal College departments
- Work closely with academic program areas to identify opportunities for new and expanded dual credit offerings
- Coordinate the administration and delivery of dual credit programs in compliance with provincial legislation, funding requirements, and institutional policies
- Monitor dual credit participation, student success outcomes, and enrollment trends to inform planning and continuous improvement
- Represent the College on provincial, regional, and local committees related to dual credit and secondary-to-post-secondary transitions
Recruitment and Outreach
- Design, implement and evaluate recruitment strategies in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Coordinate and facilitate participation in recruitment events, career fairs, open houses, community events, and school visits
- Coordinate skills camps, campus tours, student experience events, and other outreach initiatives
- Monitor and analyze recruitment trends and outcomes to inform strategy
- Plan and oversee dual credit recruitment activities throughout the service region
- Collaborate with External Relations and academic departments to develop recruitment materials, presentations, and promotional campaigns
- Utilize the College’s customer relationship management (CRM) system and enrollment data to monitor recruitment activities, analyze recruitment trends, market conditions, and prospective student feedback, and provide insights to support strategic enrollment planning and decision-making
- Act as a key contact for school counselors, teachers, administrators, students, parents, and community partners
Budget and Project Management
- Operate within a budget to oversee dual credit and recruitment initiatives
- Prepare and review invoices, purchase orders, expense claims, and support documentation in accordance with College policies
- Develop project timelines, allocate resources, identify risks, and ensure objectives are achieved within established timelines and budgets
- Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations regarding program effectiveness and recruitment outcomes
Team Leadership and Support
- Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance, and support to a team of Student Recruiters
- Coordinate staffing assignments to ensure appropriate coverage of recruitment events both within and outside the College service region
- Support hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management activities for recruitment staff
- Foster a collaborative, student-centered, and service-oriented team culture
- Ensure team members are informed of recruitment priorities, enrollment targets, program updates, and institutional initiatives
- Promote continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance recruitment processes, service delivery, and team effectiveness
