As we continue to expand our technology capabilities and invest in AI, automation, cybersecurity, and digital transformation, we are seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead our technology infrastructure, security, compliance, and enterprise systems.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on technology leader who enjoys solving complex challenges, improving operational efficiency, and building secure, scalable technology environments.

Position Summary

The IT Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the company's information technology environment, cybersecurity strategy, enterprise applications, compliance initiatives, and technology roadmap.

The successful candidate will ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems while supporting innovation through automation, AI, and modern enterprise technologies.

The role combines strategic planning with hands-on technical execution and requires someone who is proactive, highly organized, and committed to delivering exceptional results.

Please note that this is a presential role and that the candidate must live in the Ottawa-Gatineau region and be able to commute.

-Key Responsibilities-

Cybersecurity & Risk Management

  • Develop and maintain the organization's cybersecurity program.
  • Monitor and strengthen network, endpoint, and cloud security.
  • Implement security policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation activities.
  • Manage incident response and disaster recovery planning.
  • Ensure compliance with security requirements from government and enterprise clients.
  • Lead cybersecurity awareness and employee training initiatives.

Compliance & Information Security

  • Support and maintain compliance with ISO standards, including ISO 27001 and other applicable frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain information security policies and documentation.
  • Coordinate internal and external security audits.
  • Manage vendor security assessments.
  • Support privacy and data protection requirements.

Security Clearance

  • Manage environments requiring Government of Canada security requirements.
  • Support Protected B and other secure environments where applicable.
  • Coordinate security documentation and compliance activities.

IT Infrastructure

  • Manage corporate IT infrastructure, including:
  • Microsoft 365
  • Azure
  • Servers
  • Networks
  • Firewalls
  • VPN
  • Cloud platforms
  • Endpoint management
  • Backup and disaster recovery
  • Ensure maximum uptime and system reliability.
  • Manage software licensing and IT assets.

Enterprise Systems

Support and optimize enterprise platforms including:

  • CRM platforms
  • CMS platforms
  • Project Management Systems
  • Business Intelligence tools
  • AI-powered applications
  • Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
  • Workflow automation platforms
  • API integrations
  • Collaborate with business units to improve operational efficiency through technology.

Digital Transformation

  • Identify opportunities to automate business processes.
  • Lead technology improvement initiatives.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and AI solutions.
  • Support software implementation and systems integration projects.

IT Leadership

  • Develop IT policies and best practices.
  • Manage external vendors and technology partners.
  • Prepare IT budgets and technology plans.
  • Provide technical support and leadership across the organization.
  • Mentor employees on technology best practices.

-Qualifications-

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive IT management experience.
  • Strong cybersecurity experience in enterprise environments.
  • Experience implementing or maintaining ISO 27001 or similar security frameworks.
  • Experience supporting organizations with government or regulated industry security requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong networking and systems administration experience.
  • Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity planning.

Technical Experience

One or more of the following is considered an asset:

  • CISSP

  • ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor
  • ITIL Foundation
