Purpose of the Role

The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that all documents related to cash audit are verified and in compliance with applicable laws and internal policies. To do so, you must maintain close relationships with our stores to reduce and resolve all cash differences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify the various store transactions: exchanges / refunds, tax exemptions and all other store actions to ensure compliance with procedures and policies of the company to minimize losses due to errors and fraudulent actions;
  • Act as a technical support and advisory service to store staff;
  • Analyze certain reports related to all transactions for anomalies;
  • Ensure that registers are balanced at closing and that no bank deposits are missing;
  • Answer to partners’ gift card requests;
  • Place deposit slips orders for our stores;
  • Place coin orders for our stores;
  • Follow up with stores to ensure policies and procedures are understood and followed to minimize and correct errors;

Your Profile

  • Detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and the ability to identify discrepancies, errors, and irregularities in financial and transactional data.
  • Strong numerical aptitude with the ability to interpret reports and provide accurate recommendations.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, capable of meeting deadlines and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Customer-focused team player with experience providing support, guidance, and problem-solving assistance to internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Essential bilingualism in French and English (spoken and written); The individual will need to communicate with external suppliers and stores outside of Quebec.
  • Experience in retail (an asset);
  • Experience working with cash registers in-store (an asset);
  • Experience in customer service (an asset);
  • Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
