Associate Lawyer

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse litigation practice, including civil litigation and family law matters
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions, pleadings, applications, and correspondence
- Draft court documents, agreements, and other legal materials
- Attend examinations, hearings, mediations, negotiations, and court appearances
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Manage multiple files while maintaining strong attention to detail and organization
Qualifications & Experience
- 3+ years of call experience preferred
- Litigation experience required, with a focus on civil litigation and/or family law
- Law degree from an accredited Canadian law school or equivalent qualification
- Member in good standing with a Canadian provincial law society
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advocacy abilities
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
