Position Summary

The Payroll Administrator is responsible for processing a small weekly payroll and a mid-size bi-weekly payroll to ensure pay is processed on time, accurately and in compliance with government regulations.

Core Responsibilities

• Full cycle payroll processing for multi-province payroll
• Payroll reconciliations as needed
• WCB reconciliation
• Calculating, withholding and remitting garnishees
• ROE submission, amending, trouble shooting
• Enter/Verify Tax, TD1 forms
• Respond to inquiries from employees and outside agencies

Qualifications

• 1 - 3 years’ experience in a payroll environment
• Actively pursuing course work towards PCP designation is considered an asset
• Multi-province payroll experience is considered an asset
• Experience with Dayforce software is considered an asset
• Experience with reconciliations is considered an asset
• Accurate data-entry skills with strong attention to detail required
• Ability to multi-task with excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong teamwork skills
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral
• Proficiency with MS Applications: Excel, Word, Outlook
• Flexibility to work overtime as required to meet critical deadlines
