Sales Application Engineer

Please note that this role is on-site 5 days per week in North Vancouver. Applicants who are not located within commuting distance to North Vancouver will not be considered at this time.

One of Stellar's clients is searching for a Sales Application Engineer to join their team for an exciting new role in North Vancouver to liaise with international clientele. Responsibilities

• Liaise with our client's agents or customers to gather technical information essential for mechanical design.
• Conduct intake calls to understand customer requirements and to provide technical solutions.
• Write technical quotes based on customer/project requirements and technical recommendations.
• Interface between clients and engineers to understand system designs and effectively convey requirements to the design team.
• Ensure data accuracy and support project management tasks.
• Work with 2D and 3D drawings and models, completing necessary calculations and revisions.
• Collaborate with sales team members on design and drawings.
• Contribute to the growth of our client's marine steering and related businesses.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering; Mechatronic, Mechanical, Marine, or Naval Architecture; specifically someone who understands engineering concepts in steering systems, controls, cabling, or hydraulics.
• Sales or account management experience, or related.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Strong communication skills.
• Humility, outgoing nature, and a passion for continuous learning.
• Preferably, familiarity with vessel operations.

Salary Range: $70-85k/year

5 days on site in North Vancouver, BC
