About The Opportunity
Our Public Sector client is seeking a Senior Computer Application Support resource to provide Enterprise Architecture support for the planning, design, integration, synchronization, and operationalization of intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, targeting, and command-and-control capabilities within a complex environment.
The successful candidate will support the development of technical requirements, architecture products, network designs, engineering roadmaps, interoperability assessments, prototype architectures, technical trials, and exercises. The resource will also provide technical subject matter expertise and support collaboration with internal stakeholders, research organizations, allied personnel, and international partners.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Conduct mapping of targeting processes to inform intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and joint fires capability development
- Conduct mapping of current and future intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance sensor capabilities, with a focus on command and control, computers, communications, cyber, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and targeting capability development
- Support network designs, including the production of architectural operational and systems views, to support initial operating capability and operational capability demonstrations
- Support the integration of platforms with data transmission requirements, incorporating applicable distributed intelligence and coalition network technical specifications
- Support trials and exercises involving defence enterprise platforms and allied networks, including the dissemination of information on Canadian networks and the transport of information between Canada and allied nations
- Prepare briefings, papers, and written reports related to network configurations and architectures
- Coordinate and conduct investigations, research, design, implementation, testing, operation, performance evaluation, and interoperability assessments for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance capabilities
- Participate in the design, implementation, and testing of prototype architectures.
- Collaborate with technical teams and other organizations to identify the connectivity, networking, and information technology systems required to support operations.
- Participate in related technical working groups, meetings, and discussions with internal and external stakeholders
- Provide technical subject matter expertise and coordination support for the planning and execution of tests, trials, evaluations, and exercises
- Assist in the preparation, review, and implementation of orders, directives, and operational procedures
- Assist in the planning, preparation, and conduct of discussions, briefings, and meetings for senior management related to the development of the combat system
- Assist in establishing, fostering, and maintaining collaborative relationships with defence research organizations, operational stakeholders, and allied personnel
- Assist in coordinating tests and evaluations of service-specific intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance platforms, connectivity, and processing, exploitation, and dissemination capabilities
- Support other intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, command-and-control, communications, cyber, targeting, and fires development tasks and activities as required
About You
The successful candidate will have the following:
- A minimum of ten (10) years of experience as an Enterprise Architect
- A minimum of twenty-four (24) months of experience developing and delivering a federated intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance network
- Experience involving Full Motion Video capability
- Experience involving data integration
- Experience working with the United States Air Force
- A current Certified Information Systems Security Professional certification (CISSP)
