Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing the cash register (POS system).
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
• Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management.
• Assist in training new staff members on bar operations and customer service standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Bartender or in the food industry is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink costs.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
