The Role: Digital Experience Specialist
Role Overview
At SWS Warning Lights Inc., we are looking for an A-player.
Someone resourceful, curious, who takes ownership and who is just as comfortable updating a product page as they are reviewing analytics, improving an email campaign, troubleshooting a website issue, preparing a print file, or jumping in to support another area of the business when needed.
This role is for a Swiss army knife kind of person.
The kind of person who does not say, “That’s not really my area.”
The kind of person who figures things out.
The kind of person who is energized by variety, not overwhelmed by it.
The kind of person who wants to build, improve, support, solve, and keep learning.
Our customers work in live traffic, snowstorms, roadside emergencies, and construction zones. They do not have time for confusion. They need clear information, accurate product details, easy digital experiences, and a company they can trust before they ever pick up the phone.
That is where you come in.
Your work will directly shape how people experience SWS online and across key digital touchpoints. What they see, what they understand, what they trust and how confident they feel choosing us.
If that kind of responsibility excites you, keep reading.
What You’re Walking Into
- You will help own and improve the digital experience of SWS
- You will work across website management, content updates, analytics, automation, video, print support, video production and digital problem-solving
- You will support the accuracy and clarity of product information across multiple platforms
- You will collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Client Care, and other departments to keep information aligned and useful
- You will be part of a team that values accountability, curiosity, communication, and helping where needed
This role owns website management, content execution, systems thinking, marketing support, technical translation, and continuous improvement.
Some days will be focused. Some days will shift quickly. The right person is energized by that.
Who We Want
- A-players: You hold yourself to a high standard. You care about quality, speed, follow-through, and being someone your team can count on.
- Swiss Army Knife Mindset: You are willing to jump in, help where needed, and take on varied responsibilities without getting territorial.
- Proactive: You do not wait around to be told every next step. You notice gaps, ask smart questions, and move things forward.
- Technically Savvy: You are comfortable working with systems, software, digital tools, and technical products. You are not intimidated by complexity.
- Website & Coding Capable: You are confident managing websites, working in WordPress, and using code when needed to improve functionality or user experience.
- Client-Focused: You think about the user first. You care whether the page is clear, the email makes sense, the file works properly, and the experience feels helpful.
- Growth-Minded: You learn new systems, tools, and processes quickly. You are open to feedback and want to keep improving.
- Detail-Oriented: Incorrect specs, broken links, outdated files, sloppy formatting, and unclear messaging bother you.
- Adaptable: You can shift between priorities while still staying organized, accurate, and thoughtful.
- Accountable: You own your work, your deadlines, your communication, and your outcomes.
- Collaborative: You work well with others and understand that the best digital experience often comes from listening to multiple departments.
