Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Maintain knowledge of available food and beverage items as well as other products being sold in assigned area.
- Ensure assigned area is fully stocked, counted and ready for service prior to doors
- Maintain cleanliness and overall appearance of work environment, prior to, during and after shift
- Take beverage orders from customers and serving staff.
- Able to create different types of cocktails and beverage mixes based on the guests request, all while following our alcohol and services policy
- Ensures all orders are punched in correctly to the POS, and all payment is processed for each order
- Complete closing out procedures including restocking the fridges back to the par level
- Ensure proper inventory management throughout the shift, keeping inventory sheet up to date and following inventory management procedures.
- Establish rapport with guests.
- Resolve customer complaints in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
- Re-stock alcohol, garnishes, ice and other bar product as needed throughout the event.
- Maintain health and safety standards in work areas.
- Work as a team with fellow staff to promote a positive team environment and helping teammates when needed
- Complete all other tasks as delegated and assigned

Physical Demands/ Work Environment
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40lbs.
- Frequent periods of standing and walking
- Outdoor venue subject to changing environmental conditions.
- Frequent use of stairs.
- Size of Stadium tends to involve higher physical demands on event days.
- Sensory Attention: this environment is a noisy loud environment on event days.
Language Skills
- English is the working language at this job location. Candidate must be able to understand, read, write, and speak English.
- French is not mandatory but considered an asset.
Qualifications
- Previous high volume dining or hospitality experience considered an asset
- Minimum of 2 years’ previous bartending experience required
- Must have completed high school or equivalent. Relevant work experience will be considered an asset.
- Must be bondable, and pass an employer administered background check.
- Must be able to demonstrate mathematical skills
- Must be able to multi-task
- Must be able to work in a fast pace environment
- Must be able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must possess a valid Smart Serve Certificate
- Must be able to work all RedBlacks Games
