Part-Time Casual Event Support Staff (Multiple Roles)

DASCH Productions is seeking experienced, reliable, and detail-oriented Event Support Staff to join our growing team on a casual, on-call basis. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy being part of high-impact corporate events, tradeshows, and weddings.

Experience supporting audiovisual (AV) production is considered a strong asset. As part of our team, you'll play a key role in delivering seamless, high-quality event experiences across a variety of dynamic settings.

What You'll Do (On-Site Event Support)

• Assist with event setup and teardown (tables, chairs, décor, signage, registration areas, etc.)
• Support vendor coordination and liaise with suppliers on-site
• Provide guest-facing support, including registration, wayfinding, and general assistance
• Assist with AV coordination (basic support, microphone handling, cueing speakers, presentation support, and troubleshooting simple AV issues as needed)
• Support back-of-house operations, including timelines, run-of-show execution, and logistics
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of event spaces throughout execution
• Provide a high level of client service, representing DASCH Productions professionally at all times
• Be prepared for physical work (lifting, moving equipment, long hours on your feet)

Additional Responsibilities

• Occasional administrative support (event preparation, packing event kits, basic coordination tasks)
• Supporting event materials organization and inventory management

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in corporate events, tradeshows, and/or weddings (required)
• Strong communication skills and a client-first mindset
• Ability to stay calm and adaptable in high-pressure environments
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Must be physically capable of handling event setup requirements
• Experience with audiovisual (AV) equipment, live event production, or working alongside AV teams is considered a valuable asset.
