Security Supervisor

Security Supervisor — Full-Time / Part-Time

Zentra Protection is looking for a reliable and professional Security Supervisor to support our security operations in Chilliwack and across the Fraser Valley.

We are open to full-time or part-time candidates, but we are looking for serious applicants who want to grow with the company and become a consistent part of our team.

Pay Range

• $18.25–$21.00 per hour
• Wage will be based on experience, reliability, availability, leadership ability, and ability to manage coverage needs

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily security operations, guard scheduling, shift coverage, and site requirements
• Supervise, train, and support security guards in the field
• Act quickly when coverage issues, call-outs, incidents, or client concerns arise
• Conduct site checks, patrol inspections, and quality-control visits
• Ensure guards follow post orders, company standards, safety procedures, and client instructions
• Review reports, check-ins, attendance, and guard performance
• Prepare clear incident reports, daily updates, and operational notes
• Communicate professionally with clients, guards, management, contractors, and the public
• Train and coach guards on site procedures, reporting, patrol expectations, and professional conduct
• Help maintain consistent service quality, accountability, and a strong team culture

Requirements

• Minimum 1+ year of security supervisory experience or strong lead guard experience
• Valid BC Security Worker Licence
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage coverage issues and respond quickly when operational needs change
• Reliable, consistent, punctual, and able to lead by example
• Basic knowledge of Excel, email, mobile apps, and digital reporting systems
• Ability to train, coach, and guide security staff professionally
• Good understanding of patrol procedures, access control, incident response, site safety, and report writing
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and make responsible decisions
• Flexible availability, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays when needed
