The person in this role provides strategic leadership in maximizing the value of enterprise data and advancing Simons' analytics capabilities. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Chief Information & Innovation Officer (CIIO), this individual defines the vision, strategy, and priorities for data, business intelligence, and artificial intelligence to support informed decision-making, innovation, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the organization's data management, governance, and data value strategy to ensure high-quality, trusted, and accessible enterprise data.
  • Lead the teams responsible for Data, Business Intelligence, and Artificial Intelligence while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive the evolution of enterprise analytics platforms, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support business decision-making and operational excellence.
  • Develop and execute the organization's Artificial Intelligence roadmap by identifying opportunities to enhance operations, improve efficiency, and create measurable business value.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the Chief Information & Innovation Officer (CIIO) and business leaders on data strategy, analytics, artificial intelligence, technology investments, and strategic priorities.
  • Manage relationships with technology partners, specialized vendors, and service providers while overseeing departmental budgets and strengthening internal organizational capabilities.

Desired Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Intelligence, Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. A Master's degree is considered an asset.
  • Minimum of fifteen (15) years of progressive experience in Information Technology, Data, or Analytics, including at least five (5) years in a management or senior leadership role.
  • Demonstrated experience in data governance, business intelligence, advanced analytics, or enterprise data platform management.
  • Strong understanding of modern data technologies, advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and enterprise data ecosystems.
  • Experience leading organizational transformation initiatives and managing technology partners and specialized vendors.
  • Proven leadership skills with a strategic mindset and the ability to influence business decisions and drive organizational change.
  • Recognized for delivering business results, creating measurable value, and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.
