Offshore Operator

As an Offshore Operator, you will be part of the offshore team responsible for the safe and efficient discharge of crude carriers to onshore storage facilities, while also supporting vessel operations and maintaining equipment associated with the Canaport Single Buoy Mooring. Your goal will be to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations of offshore assets while supporting day-to-day vessel activities and maintenance tasks. Your success will depend on your ability to effectively perform physically demanding work in all weather conditions, contribute to safe offshore operations, carry out deckhand duties on the service boat and monobuoy, and maintain equipment to a high standard while adhering to a 14-day on / 14-day off shift schedule.

Your Responsibilities
- Perform Deck Hand duties on the service boat; deck handling during tanker operations, maintenance tasks on the monobuoy and service boat
- Perform duties as a member of the Tanking Mooring Crew
- Perform bow watch duties on board tankers during discharge operations
- Complete preventative maintenance, work orders and corrective action; aid when contractors are brought in to perform these tasks
- Participate in maintenance projects such as hose change and bridle change
- Direct tanker crane operators and crew in hoisting and lowering of Tanker Toolbox and Focsle Shack, and connecting and disconnecting of pigtail hoses
Your Skills

Your Experience
- Up to 3 years of relevant experience in a related field
- Preference will be given to applicants with marine experience
