Role and Facility Information
Seeking a physician or NP to join a multi-practitioner clinic. The clinic is a fully audited non-profit run by Scw’exmx Health in Merritt, BC.
All business considerations and benefits are taken care of by Schss. Physicians work independently for a modest overhead. Set your own hours and priorities.
Physicians rotate through ward rounds/in-patient care, generally light, at Nicola Valley General Hospital in Merritt.
Lucrative ER shifts are entirely optional.
Living in Merritt provides boundless year round recreational activities, including excellent hiking and mountain biking, fishing & hunting, nordic skiing/snowshoeing, camping, river and lake paddling, sailing and horseback riding.
Merritt is a rural community with a great central location, close to Kamloops, Kelowna and Vancouver.

Benefits and Incentives
May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) including: Retention Premium 12.50% Retention Flat Fee $19,364 Relocation Funding Available $9,000 - 15,000, depending on move location Recruitment Incentive $15,000 Other Benefits/Incentives Rural incentives are subject to change and current rates are confirmed at the time of offer.
