As Mana ger, Com pensa tion, you’l l l everage your expertise in compensation, job architecture and performance management to support the development and management of compensation programs across the comp any . Y ou’ll lead the implementation and continuous improvement of compensation programs and processes that align with organizational objectives and support a high-performing workforce.

What you’ll do

  • Provide leadership, management and subject matter expertise in compensation and performance management

  • Support and manage job catalogue, job architecture and compensation frameworks

  • Monitor effectiveness of compensation programs and recommend improvements based on trends and analysis

  • Manage and align internal processes , including job evaluation and pay structures

  • Contribute to the design and governance of compensation programs aligned with organizational objectives and best practices

  • Oversee compensation data, benchmarking, analytics and reporting

  • Lead pay equity initiatives , including planning, review in g processes and implement i ng required changes

  • Provide leadership for annual market review, performance review and compensation processes

  • Develop and manage policies, tools and communications related to performance and compensation cycles

  • Support B oard and Human Resources and Governance Committee initiatives and special projects

  • Lead, coach and develop team members while fostering a high-performing and engaged team culture

  • Build strong partnerships across teams and stakeholders to support organizational objectives

What you’ll bring to the team

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in administration, commerce , human resources , or a related field or discipline

  • At least eight years of related compensation experience ( or an equivalent combination of education and experience )

  • In-depth knowledge of compensation, job architecture and performance management principles and practices

  • Working knowledge of relevant legislation , including Canada Labour Code, Human Rights and Pay Equity

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills

  • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and influence stakeholders

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience supporting enterprise-wide compensation programs and initiatives

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation

  • Working knowledge of Workday
