Your Impact
In this role, you will lead impactful capital and process improvement initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance safety, quality, efficiency, and overall operational performance. This position offers a hands-on, dynamic environment with opportunities to contribute to automation, continuous improvement, and innovation across multiple plant operations.
What You’ll Do
- Lead end-to-end engineering projects, including analysis, vendor selection, installation, commissioning, and production readiness
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes, equipment performance, and overall plant efficiency
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, quality, and external partners to execute projects and resolve technical challenges
- Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and timelines, ensuring successful and timely delivery
- Support plant layout design, workflow optimization, and ergonomic improvements
- Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, and cost performance across manufacturing operations
- Act as a change agent, supporting the adoption of new technologies and processes
What You’ll Bring
Required
- Post-secondary degree in Engineering (Mechanical or related field)
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Experience with project coordination or project management
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or similar CAD tools
- Understanding of mechanical systems, including hydraulics and pneumatics
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and levels
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between local sites as needed
Preferred
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or actively working toward certification
- Experience with SolidWorks or other 3D modeling tools
- Exposure to automation or capital equipment projects
- Familiarity with plastics manufacturing or similar processes
- Basic understanding of electrical systems

Working Conditions
Requires a high degree of mobility and involves considerable routine walking, standing for long periods, reaching, twisting, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 50lbs alone. Fast-paced environment where a considerable amount of sensory attention is required. Personal safety is affected by exposure to heat, odors, cold, dust, noise levels and the use of sharp tools. Facility is Semi Climate-Controlled to prevent heat stress in our employees.
