EMERGENCY MEDICINE SPECIALIST – BETHESDA REGIONAL HEALTH CENTRE
Southern Health-Santé Sud is welcoming applications from physicians who are passionate about providing emergency medicine services at the Bethesda Regional Health Centre (BRHC) located in Steinbach, Manitoba.
Steinbach is the third-largest city in Manitoba, experiencing significant population growth, attracting diverse residents. Our department is funded for 36 physician hours per day, ensuring double coverage during peak volumes.
- 12 hours of double coverage daily.
- Shift Structure: A mix of 8, 6 hour (can be doubled to 12 hours) shifts to manage patient flow effectively.
- Start dates and EFT are fully flexible to match your availability.

Required Qualifications
- Medical Degree with post‑graduate training in either Family Medicine (with appropriate experience), or Canadian Royal College Certification in Emergency Medicine (FRCPC).
- US Applicants: American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) certification is fully recognized in Manitoba.
- Current licensure or eligibility for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba.
Compensation
- The current hourly stipends range from $258.08 - $453.21 based on timing of shift.
