This strategic acquisition significantly expands TopGum ’ s manufacturing and technological capabilities, strengthening its position as a leading global provider of innovative gummy supplements.

The Opportunity

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a team of maintenance technicians to ensure equipment reliability, preventative maintenance execution, and operational efficiency across the facility. This role works closely with production and leadership teams to support safety, minimize downtime, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Equipment downtime is minimized through proactive maintenance practices
  • Maintenance KPIs are tracked, communicated, and improved upon
  • Maintenance team members are supported, trained, and engaged
  • Safety procedures and SOPs are consistently followed
  • Production equipment remains reliable and operational to support manufacturing goals

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the preventative maintenance program through the CMMS system
  • Issue and prioritize maintenance work orders based on operational requirements
  • Provide technical support, coaching, and training to maintenance team members
  • Troubleshoot and repair PLCs and low-voltage electrical control systems
  • Troubleshoot major system failures and coordinate repairs as required
  • Maintain workshop visual management boards and lead daily DDS (Daily Direction Setting) meetings
  • Monitor and support Maintenance KPIs including planned/unplanned downtime, reliability, and maintenance spending
  • Collaborate closely with the Maintenance Manager and Production teams to maximize equipment uptime
  • Promote and enforce Health & Safety procedures and company SOPs
  • Maintain inventory levels of spare parts, consumables, and maintenance tools

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of progressive maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience considered an asset
  • Red Seal certification (or equivalent) in Industrial Electrician, Millwright, or Instrumentation considered an asset
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • PLC and instrumentation experience considered an asset
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and CMMS systems preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to work proactively
  • Must be able to read, write, and understand English
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to:

  • Stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach as required within an industrial environment
