Job Description: The Executive Director, Tertiary & Surgical Services is a key senior leader within the Saskatchewan Health Authority responsible for providing strategic, operational, and system leadership for tertiary and surgical services in Regina. Reporting to the Vice President Integrated Regina Health, the Executive Director works collaboratively with physician leaders, operational leaders, government, academic partners, and provincial programs to advance access, quality, patient safety, workforce sustainability, and achievement of provincial healthcare priorities. The Executive Director is accountable for translating organizational strategy into operational plans and measurable outcomes that improve patient care and system performance

The successful candidate will be a collaborative and strategic healthcare leader with extensive experience leading complex healthcare operations and transformational initiatives within a large, integrated health system.

Education

  • Graduate/ Masters level or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Licensed and in good standing with professional association and/or regulatory body, if applicable.

Experience

  • Extensive experience, at a strategic level, as a leader who has developed and led innovative planning and programs in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment
  • 10+ years in a leadership position with progressive advancement

Salary or Pay Band: As per terms of employment
