• Start Date: August 31, 2026
• Salary: $62,854.59*
• Salary based on full-Time Equivalency (FTE) is calculated based on the number of students in a teacher's case load.

Responsibilities

• Plan engaging lessons that meet learners where they are at
• Deliver content using D2L Brightspace (LMS)
• Offer regular / weekly synchronous learning opportunities using Zoom
• Provide timely, dynamic, and responsive assessment feedback
• Report progress to families

Requirements

• Bachelor of Education Degree
• Valid BC Teaching Certificate
• Native or native-like fluency in American Sign Language (ASL).
• Deep connection to and lived experience within the Deaf community and Deaf culture.
• Ability to seamlessly integrate Deaf cultural norms and perspectives into curriculum delivery.
