This position will provide instruction in the Adult 10/Adult 12 program and support students preparing for the Canadian Adult Education Credential (CAEC). Preference given to those with Math or science background and or student support teacher experience.
The position will provide in-person or hyflex instruction.

- Design and implement a student-centered classroom using an outcome-based approach.
- Manage the classroom to ensure an optimum learning environment.
- Plan and deliver content and learning activities that reflect the values, beliefs, needs, and contributions of a culturally diverse community with a focus on First Nations and Metis culture and ways of knowing.
- Provide appropriate evaluation, assessment, and feedback to students.
- Maintain records of achievement, attendance and other student related information and report such information as required.
- Identify resources and equipment appropriate to support curriculum/course implementation.
- Be reflective of and responsive to accommodation of learning needs including equity groups and diverse learners.
- Be flexible and responsive to learner needs using appropriate instructional methodologies.
- Respond to curriculum/course demands and make necessary adjustments according to learner needs utilizing adult learning principles.
- Assist students in areas of personal, academic, and career development.
- Engage students in learning activities designed to strengthen ties to work and/or career development.
- Where required, develop working relationships with appropriate external partners and employers, supporting students in work experience.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA)
- Bachelor of Education or degree
- Valid Saskatchewan Professional A Teaching Certificate.
- Relevant experience required based on training and/or teaching experience as described in special instructions for applicants
- Demonstrated competence in teaching learners from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds.
- Demonstrated competence in indigenizing curricula and evaluation.
- Effective communication skills (written and oral).
- Effective interpersonal skills.
- Effective instructional ability.
- Demonstrated competence and recent experience in the use of the internet, e-mail, Brightspace LMS, MS Office Suite software and the ability to learn and adapt to changing technology.
- Ability to work as a team member in an ever-changing environment.
