Salary Range: $60,000 – $75,000 annually

IAF funds programs that support BC's agriculture, food, and rural sectors. We have compelling work happening across the province — we need the right person to bring it to life.

We're looking for a Communications & Digital Content Coordinator who can write a sharp newsletter, turn a Zoom recording into an impact video, and build a graphic in Canva — all in the same afternoon.

About IAF

The Investment Agriculture Foundation of BC is a not-for-profit organization that funds programs to support the long-term sustainability and competitiveness of BC's agriculture, food and rural sectors. We're a small, collaborative team based in Victoria, BC, with a big footprint across the province.

What You'll Do

  • Plan and execute email campaigns, social media, newsletters, and web copy
  • Manage the editorial calendar and maintain a consistent brand presence
  • Produce video content end-to-end — scripting, shooting, editing, publishing
  • Transform raw materials (reports, recordings, data) into audience-ready content
  • Design graphics for web, social, and print using Canva and beyond
  • Track campaign analytics and apply findings to improve strategy
  • Serve as a front-line contact for client and stakeholder inquiries

What We're Looking For

  • Thrives in a cross-functional environment where the job description is a starting point — you'll regularly be handed work outside your wheelhouse and that suits you just fine
  • Clear, direct writer who leads with the point
  • Video production and graphic design experience (Canva is your floor, not your ceiling)
  • Comfortable with a range of equipment — iPhone to drone
  • Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines without dropping the ball
  • Familiar with Mailchimp or similar, WordPress, and social media platforms

Qualifications

  • Diploma in communications, marketing, journalism, or related field
  • 1+ year in a communications or marketing role
  • Demonstrated video and design experience
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience considered
  • Not-for-profit experience or interest preferred
  • CRM experience (Dynamics 365 or similar) is an asset
