About Role
Campaign Officer (Part-time, term contract)
Reporting to the Vice President of Resource Development, the Campaign Officer works on the annual campaign, developing and managing workplace relationships as per campaign plans and strategies, as well as building and stewarding relationships with workplaces, leadership donors, and other contributors to the campaign.
United Way KFL&A is looking for a candidate with:
• Diploma or degree from a recognized post-secondary institution, preferably in Business Administration, Fundraising or equivalent education and experience
• Minimum of three years’ fundraising or sales-related experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced office
• Sound computer skills including, spreadsheets, word processing, email / internet, database and / or customer relationship management and / or fundraising software
• Analytical and reasoning skills (data analysis and evaluation)
• Very strong written, verbal, interpersonal and communication skills
• Proven time management skills and ability to effectively organize work in an environment with competing work duties
• Ability to manage direct reports, ensuring they meet their deliverables and timelines
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, complex, and flexible office environment
• High level of integrity, judgment, and discretion in dealing with confidential, sensitive matters
• A committed team player who is also able to work in a self-directed manner
• Non-traditional hours are required due to deadlines
• Access to adequate transportation is essential
• Possesses a positive attitude and manages with a style that excels in coaching, collaborating, providing clear direction and guidance

Salary Range: Level 3: Officer, Specialist – hourly range ($26.54 - $33.18)
Hours: up to 22.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm
This is a part time, term contract. End date March 31, 2027. Reports in-person to work.
