Maintenance Coordinator

The Municipal Group of Companies, based in Bedford, Nova Scotia, is a large, diversified organization engaged in all major aspects of heavy civil construction, mining, transportation, and environmental services throughout the Atlantic Provinces. We are currently seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to join our team within our Asphalt Plant Division based out of Lower Sackville, NS.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

  • Open and close work orders
  • Reconciling invoices and packing slips.
  • Process packing slips
  • Work closely with Maintenance Planners & Storeroom Clerk to assist them when needed
  • Adheres to purchasing policies, procedures, regulations, and laws
  • Maintain in-house filing system for Equipment Maintenance Records
  • Assist with storeroom organization, parts runs and inventory counts
  • Data entry
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Indoor and outdoor activity required in a maintenance environment (PPE required)
  • A working knowledge of MS Office software, MS Outlook, MS Word, Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • The ability to learn quickly and be adaptable to change
  • The ability to prioritize and organize (be able to multi-task)
  • The ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, And Experience
