● Supervise and assign jobs to employees, and review their work.

● Train new employees on equipment operation, workflow expectations, and company procedures,

protocols, and policies.

● Enforce safety rules and ensure the overall safety and security of the workplace.

● Communicate and coordinate with distributors regarding supply deliveries.

● Coordinate the storage of inventory in the warehouse.

● Manage the supply flow for the processing and staging of processed products.

● Supervise customer pickup procedures.

● Maintain warehouse equipment and arrange service calls when required.

● Purchase supplies for processing.

● Record the inventory that is processed or discarded.

● Resolve any issues with processing and delivering invoices.

● Ensure the optimal performance and reliability of computers and equipment.

● Required education:

○ Completion of a 2- to 3-year post-secondary education program in business

administration, supply chain management, logistics, production management,

manufacturing management, or a closely related discipline.

● Required work experience and skills:

○ 2 to 3 years of relevant and related work experience.

○ Demonstrated experience as a leader and mentor.

○ Able to assign clear tasks, evaluate employee work objectively, and manage

workplace accountability.

Aptitude for training new hires efficiently on corporate protocols, equipment

operation, and workflow expectations.

○ Capable of handling processing delays, vendor delivery disputes, and customer

complaints at the pickup counter.

○ Proficiency in tracking processed vs. discarded items, maintaining precise

records, and coordinating bulk storage logic.

○ Able to monitor and balance the supply flow to ensure the processing line never

starves for raw material and the staging area does not get bottlenecked.

○ Purchasing and commercial transaction skills to directly order processing

supplies and coordinate with freight distributors.

○ Strong working knowledge of the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act

(OHSA) to confidently enforce safety rules and maintain a safe, healthy, and

secure workplace.

○ Comfortable using computer systems, such as Warehouse Management Systems

(WMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, and Microsoft

Office/Excel) to process or resolve billing/invoice errors and oversee IT

reliability.

○ Experience with proactive tracking of machinery wear-and-tear, coordinating

preventative maintenance, and managing third-party utility/service calls.

○ Experience with coordinating systems and logistics.

○ Organizational experience.

○ Human resources skills.

○ Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.

○ Able to work either independently or as part of a team.

○ Adaptable and flexible.

○ Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. unassisted and to stand for extended

periods of time.
