Dock Manager - Afternoons

We are currently looking for an PM LTL Operations Manager for our Vaughan terminal.

Schedule: Monday to Friday from 2:30pm to 11:00pm

Position Type: Permanent, Full Time

Salary: Up to $85,000, will be based on experience

• Supervise, coach and train personnel
• Coach, train and mentor your supervisors
• Daily PM Dock performance, monitoring and adjustments
• Increase Scanning Compliance, both Inbound & Outbound
• PM Reweigh and Recube, improve revenue capture on the Dock
• Monitor/Assign Forklift Staff
• Reduce miss-directs and damages on customer shipments
• Customer shipment audits when required
• Ensure employees follow health & safety guidelines
• Cross train staff to ensure adequate dock coverage daily
• Action on all last-minute shipment requests
• Previous Management experience in the Transportation Industry is preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be able to exercise initiative, multi task and work well as part of a team
• Organized and detail oriented
• Proficient with computer programs/dispatch systems and Microsoft office
